Today's useless fact - Are there any home remedies to get rid of freckles?

Here's one personal experience we came across when looking for the answer: "I tried the lemon juice thing for my freckles, because they became extremely dark from the tanning bed... I've been applying it twice a day for three days now and there almost gone.. At night I leave the lemon juice on my face and wash it off in the morning,, My face is silky smooth .. so no worry on drying it out.... It also is helping clear away the black heads that were on my nose and shrinking my pores on my face.. I tried using facial fade creams to get rid of my freckles before, all they really did was make me look ghost white.. with the lemon juice its just clearing the freckles , but leaving the tan on my face.. I love it!"
